Artic Lorry Drivers are responsible for the transportation of goods over long distances using articulated lorries. This role involves ensuring timely delivery, maintaining logs, and adhering to safety regulations.
The Work You'll Do:
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Drive articulated lorries to transport goods to various destinations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secured safely.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and service hours.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and report any issues.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications:

- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.

- Good mechanical understanding of lorries for basic troubleshooting.
- Valid Class CE driver’s license.
