Full Job Description
As a Cardiac Surgeon, you will perform operations on the heart and other surrounding blood vessels to correct congenital defects, treat heart diseases, and prevent other cardiac conditions. You are expected to lead surgical teams, make critical preoperative and postoperative decisions, and ensure the comprehensive well-being of patients throughout their surgical journey.
The Work You'll Do:
- Consult with other specialists to formulate comprehensive care plans
- Evaluate surgical results and modify treatment plans as necessary
- Monitor and assess patients' progress in post-operative stages
- Participate in research and development to pioneer surgical techniques
- Perform surgeries to treat cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery bypass grafts
