Full Job Description
The Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in our facilities. This includes ensuring all electrical components are up to code and functioning properly. The Electrician plays a critical role in preventing electrical hazards and ensuring the safety of our team.
The Work You'll Do:
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other personnel to plan electrical layouts and developments.
- Diagnose electrical problems using diagrams or blueprints and perform scheduled maintenance upgrades on electrical systems.
- Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components to avoid electrical hazards.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and ensure all wiring meets regulatory codes and standards.
- Respond to emergencies such as power outage and power surges, provide timely troubleshooting, and repair.
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to locate and assess electrical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Experience in working with electrical systems and utilizing testing and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Good communication and organizational skills to coordinate with other professionals on the job.
- Strong adherence to safety standards to ensure personal and team safety while working with electricity.
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience in industrial or residential electrical work.
- Familiarity with national and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Must have vocational qualifications in electrical work or related field.
- Possession of a reliable electrician's license recognized within the EU.
- Willingness to update knowledge and skills through continued education and training.
