Full Job Description
Escavator Drivers operate heavy machinery to perform tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving soil and creating trenches at construction sites. This role is crucial for ensuring that construction projects proceed according to plan.
The Work You'll Do:
- Conduct pre-operational checks and report any issues.
- Coordinate with site foremen and other construction workers.
- Ensure compliance with safety laws and regulations.
- Follow site plans and blueprints to perform excavation work accurately.
- Load and unload materials.
- Maintain records of work completed and machine maintenance.
- Operate excavators safely to perform specified tasks.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
