Full Job Description
As a Farm Machinery Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of farm machinery used in the cultivation and harvesting of crops. This role requires a thorough understanding of modern agricultural practices and equipment.
The Work You'll Do:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of agricultural products.
- Engage in land preparation, planting, fertilizing, and crop harvesting operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Implement and follow farm plans devised by the farm manager.
- Maintain accurate records of machinery usage, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
- Monitor the conditions of crops to ensure efficient operations.
- Operate tractors, harvesters, and other farm machinery to safely and effectively carry out farming activities.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
