The Incident Response Analyst is a critical member of our cybersecurity team, responsible for responding to and managing security incidents that may affect our organization's digital infrastructure. In this role, you will swiftly detect, analyze, and neutralize cyber threats, ensuring that security breaches are contained and mitigated promptly. You will collaborate with other cybersecurity professionals to improve our incident response protocols and participate in conducting regular security exercises and simulations. Your efforts will not only help to safeguard our sensitive data but also assist in fortifying our defenses against future attacks. Your analytical mindset and swift decision-making capabilities will be indispensable in maintaining our organization's robust security posture.
The Work You'll Do:
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enhance defense strategies
- Conduct regular security exercises and simulations
- Develop and refine incident response protocols and procedures
- Implement measures to contain and mitigate cybersecurity threats
- Respond to security incidents and conduct thorough investigations
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in conducting cybersecurity investigations
- Proficiency in using security information and event management (SIEM) tools
- Strong knowledge of incident response processes and tools
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in incident response or cybersecurity roles
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security or Computer Science
- Familiarity with network forensic analysis and threat hunting
- Relevant certifications such as CSIR, GCIH, or ECIH are desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
