An Inclusive Activity Coordinator designs and delivers diverse and engaging activities for individuals with varying abilities. The position involves planning, organizing, and leading activities that promote physical health, social interaction, and creative expression. You will be responsible for adapting activities to meet the unique needs and preferences of all participants, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in every program you manage. You must have the ability to inspire and motivate individuals, fostering a positive and supportive environment that encourages community involvement. Building networks with local organizations to enhance program offerings is also a key responsibility.
The Work You'll Do:
- Collaborate with participants, families, and specialist staff to adapt activities to individual needs.
- Collect feedback and conduct evaluations to assess the success of activities and identify areas for improvement.
- Create and manage partnerships with local organizations to facilitate co-hosted or shared events.
- Maintain equipment and resources effectively, ensuring they are safe, well-maintained, and available when needed.
- Plan and execute a calendar of activities tailored to meet the interests and capabilities of participants.

- Training in adaptive and inclusive activity planning and facilitation.
