Full Job Description
The Inventory Planner is responsible for managing inventory levels to ensure optimal supply levels are maintained for production. This includes forecasting demand, analyzing stock levels, and collaborating with procurement teams to enhance inventory processes within the production environment.
The Work You'll Do:
- Analyze historical sales data and current market trends to anticipate future inventory needs.
- Collaborate with purchasing and production departments to align inventory levels with sales and production plans.
- Develop and implement new strategies to simplify inventory processes and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular audits to ensure data integrity across systems.
- Monitor inventory movements and report on discrepancies and inefficiencies within inventory systems.

Qualifications:
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience in inventory management or related roles.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of the principles of supply chain management and inventory control.
- Proficiency in using analytical tools and software to enhance inventory planning efforts.
