Full Job Description
The Irrigation Technician is a key operations role involved in the hands-on installation, maintenance, and repair of various irrigation systems. You will support field teams by ensuring all irrigation equipment is running efficiently, conducting regular inspections and maintenance, troubleshooting problems, and implementing improvements where necessary. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the operational efficiency of irrigation systems and ensuring they are aligned with the agronomic goals of our production facilities. Additionally, you will work closely with the teams to monitor water usage and optimize system settings to promote water conservation strategies.
The Work You'll Do:
- Assist in the installation and setup of new irrigation systems across various sites.
- Collaborate with agricultural teams to adjust irrigation schedules based on crop needs.
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards and water usage regulations throughout operations.
- Identify and resolve technical failures or inefficiencies within irrigation equipment quickly.
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on existing irrigation infrastructure.

- Experience in using diagnostic tools and software related to irrigation systems.
- Understanding of sustainable water usage practices in agricultural settings.
