Full Job Description
In the role of a Personal Support Worker within Companion Services, you will provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals with varying personal care needs. Your duties include assisting with daily living activities, performing household tasks, and providing emotional support to clients to enhance their comfort and quality of life. You will work closely with clients and their families, coordinating care plans and ensuring health and safety standards are upheld. This role requires dedication, patience, and a proactive approach to meet clients' unique needs and promote their dignity and independence.
The Work You'll Do:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming tasks
- Facilitate client's participation in rehabilitation exercises
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' condition to supervisors
- Provide companionship to improve clients' mental and emotional health
- Support clients with meal preparation according to dietary needs
