Full Job Description
The Pest Control Technician plays a crucial role in carrying out day-to-day pest abatement activities. Reporting to the Pest Control Specialist, you will be tasked with applying pest control measures in a variety of settings to keep indoor and outdoor spaces safe for occupants. Your responsibilities will include setting bait and traps, applying pesticides in designated areas, and maintaining equipment in proper working condition. Additionally, you will gather data and complete reports for supervisors, assisting in the evaluation of treatment efficacy and the development of future strategies.
The Work You'll Do:
- Assist in educating clients on pest prevention and sanitation practices to minimize risk of future infestations.
- Collect data on pest activity and treatment outcomes to support analytical evaluations and reporting.
- Implement pest control measures, including application of pesticides and setting up traps and bait stations.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections to ensure all pest control equipment and tools are functional.
- Stay informed on the proper use of pest control products and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

- Physical stamina and ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
- Willingness to complete trade certification in pest control if not already acquired.
