As a Regional Truck Driver, you will be tasked with transporting goods over intermediate distances, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of products. This role requires you to handle routes that span several states while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. You'll be responsible for maintaining the condition of the vehicle and promptly addressing any issues encountered on the road. This position is vital for connecting our distribution network and ensuring the reliability of our service.
The Work You'll Do:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of freight to ensure items are secured and protected during transport.
- Communicate with dispatch to update on delivery status and report any delays or issues immediately.
- Drive and operate large freight trucks for regional deliveries, ensuring safety and compliance with traffic laws.
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules, factoring in rest stops and fuel considerations.
- Regularly check vehicle conditions and perform preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns during transit.

- Possession of a commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for long-haul driving.
