Full Job Description
As a Residential Painter, you will be tasked with painting the interior and exterior surfaces of residential properties. This includes preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming them before applying paints and other finishes. The position requires close attention to detail and craftsmanship to achieve the desired aesthetic and protective effects.
The Work You'll Do:
- Apply paint or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
- Ensure all areas are painted to the client's satisfaction and tidy up any paint drips or spills.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by using techniques such as washing, sanding, scraping, and applying primer.
- Select appropriate paint colors and finishes according to the client's specifications.
- Touch up jobs to meet high-quality standards and seek client approval at each phase.
