Full Job Description
The Toddler Room Supervisor oversees all activities within the toddler room, ensuring that children are cared for in a nurturing and child-centered environment. The ideal candidate will establish routines that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth while ensuring safety and supervision at all times. Duties include developing educational plans that cater to the interests and development stage of each child, conducting regular assessments, and holding parent-teacher meetings to discuss progress. The Toddler Room Supervisor will also lead and mentor a team of assistants, providing guidance and support to maintain the room's operation smoothly and efficiently.
The Work You'll Do:
- Conduct regular progress updates and assessments
- Develop customized educational programs tailored to toddlers
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in the assigned room
- Lead and coach a team of childcare assistants
- Liaise with parents to communicate development and behavior observations
