Full Job Description
The Tractor Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of tractors and related agricultural machinery. This role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing complex repairs, and installing new equipment enhancements. You will maintain a meticulous log of all repairs and services performed. Working closely with farm operators, you will ensure all machinery operates at peak performance and safety standards are upheld. You may also provide technical support and training to less experienced staff and assist in the procurement of high-quality replacement parts and equipment upgrades.
The Work You'll Do:
- Assist in the selection and installation of new farm equipment and modification parts.
- Conduct detailed diagnostics and repairs on farm tractors and related equipment.
- Keep comprehensive records of all maintenance activities and machinery performance.
- Perform regular service checks and preventive maintenance to prolong machinery lifespan.
- Provide technical support for operation staff and introduce new machinery enhancements.
