The Welding Machine Operator is responsible for operating welding machinery in a safe and effective manner. Tasks include setting up machines according to set specifications, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, and maintaining equipment. Operators execute welds in standard and complex positions, ensuring precision and compliance with quality standards, while maintaining a safe workspace and adhering to safety policies.
The Work You'll Do:
- Follow and enforce safety procedures and PPE guidelines.
- Interpret complex blueprints and drawings to execute precise welds.
- Maintain and repair equipment to optimize efficiency and security.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure the integrity and strength of welded components.
- Setup and operate welding machines in adherence to established protocols.
