The Workplace Safety Manager will oversee all safety protocols within our company, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and fostering a safe work environment for all employees. This involves developing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and working closely with department heads to integrate safety practices.
The Work You'll Do:
- Collaborate with department heads to integrate safety measures seamlessly into daily operations and practices.
- Coordinate and lead training sessions and workshops for employees on workplace safety practices and policies.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs to mitigate risks and enhance safety culture within the workplace.
- Ensure the organization remains compliant with health and safety laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and advising management accordingly.
- Perform regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or similar will be highly regarded.
- Proven track record of reducing workplace incidents through effective policy implementation and training.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple safety initiatives simultaneously.
