As an Infant Care Specialist, you will provide expert care for newborns and infants, ensuring their safety and well-being in a nurturing environment. You will be responsible for feeding, changing, and monitoring infants while keeping a meticulous schedule of nap times and feedings. This role involves working closely with parents to develop routines that promote the infant's growth and development. You will also provide guidance on strategies to soothe and bond with the infant, all while maintaining a calm and pleasant atmosphere. This position requires patience, a deep understanding of infant development, and a compassionate approach to handling babies' unique needs.
The Work You'll Do:
- Administer basic infant care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and diaper changes
- Create a safe, nurturing environment to foster growth and development
- Develop and maintain a structured schedule for feeding, sleeping, and playtime
- Monitor infant’s development and behavior, reporting any concerns to parents
- Provide educational support to parents about infant development and care techniques
