Full Job Description
The Infant Room Lead plays an essential role in our daycare by guiding and nurturing the entire infant care team to ensure the highest quality of service and care. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining a developmentally appropriate environment that prioritizes safety, comfort, and developmental stimulation. Duties include observing and documenting infant growth, developing individualized care plans, and organizing age-specific activities that support overall growth. The Infant Room Lead must also collaborate closely with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates and fostering a family-oriented atmosphere. This role suits an individual who is compassionate, responsive, and skilled in managing infant routines and behaviors.
The Work You'll Do:
- Create and maintain a nurturing environment conducive to infant development
- Ensure room safety and cleanliness standards are upheld
- Plan and implement age-appropriate play and sensory activities
- Supervise and mentor a team of infant care providers
- Track and document developmental milestones and share findings with parents
