Full Job Description
The Youth Mentorship Coordinator will design and oversee mentoring programs geared towards fostering positive relationships and personal growth of young participants in our after-school care program. This role involves recruiting, training, and managing mentors who will guide and inspire children, helping them reach their full potential. The Coordinator will be responsible for developing strategies and workshops that address social, educational, and personal development and act as a point of contact for mentors, mentees, and parents. The ideal candidate is empathetic, highly organized, and has experience in youth programs or mentorship roles.
The Work You'll Do:
- Develop and implement mentorship programs tailored to the needs of young people
- Evaluate program effectiveness and ensure alignment with developmental goals
- Organize workshops and events centered on personal growth and empowerment
- Recruit, train, and support volunteer mentors
- Serve as a liaison between the community, parents, and program participants
